23 Jun 2008 - Canoeing Night

The Scouts met for a night of canoeing and getting very wet at Glasshouses Dam. Our instructors for the night were Dave & Kim assisted by Lilly, Charlie and Luke.

 

The evening started with a gentle warmup of catch the paddle.

We love messing around on water

"Look! - over there?" shouted Kim

We did learn some skills as well as playing games, Here we demonstrate rafting up. Five minutes trying to line up and hold on to each others boat

As usual the evening ended up in a water fight and tipping each other out of the boats
